In-Home Organizing Projects

Working closely with and inside the homes of families and women who want to live with less has been an honor. These projects and before-and-afters are the research and hands-on experience that fuel Organize For Love’s home organizing solutions. I hope a look inside of a few projects give you even more insight to why this work is so important.

A Thanksgiving Transformation

I’m so happy with what we did for this family. I told my client we’ll be done before Thanksgiving; we started in September and finished on November 22nd.

We decluttered, organized, and decorated the living room. Check out the video for how we transformed the space. This space inspired my TRASH Method, a 5-step process to declutter any room. You can learn about the method in three ways:

Watch it here,

Listen to it here,

“Rebekah is amazing at what she does. She worked with me through my grief and helped me transform my space. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of home organization services” —Amiris

A Brooklyn Kitchen Upgrade

With this kitchen project, here are a couple of things my team and I did:⁣

⁣We used the vertical space in the cabinets, there’s so much opportunity when you just looked up.⁣ We did this by using shelf risers which allowed us to put all like items in one place. ⁣Then, we decanted our clients extensive tea and coffee collection. This saved space as all the different containers took up space. Our client now has a beautiful and cohesive system that’ll be easy to maintain. ⁣ I love how it turned out because it’s straight forward but strategic. You can see how we maximized the entire space and reorganized her multifunctional coat closet & pantry.

A Creative Studio

This creative studio transformation wass definitely one for the books!! We organized and designed Made by Maylia’s creative studio and she trusted us with every part and detail. I’m forever grateful that she trusted us with her vision. We had a lot of fun bringing function and creativity together. For more before and after photos, go here, here.

If you’re creative, lack structure, and organization, you’re going to love what we did here. You can see more of my thought process behind her closet here, and a behind-the-scenes of the wallpaper installation. Finally, go here to get Maylia’s thoughts on her new creative studio.

“I feel like my space is the perfect space for me to create and work. It is both functional and beautiful. Having a designated space to work in was the next step for my business and I honestly could not have imagined doing the undertaking alone. I now spend most of my time in the space and I couldn't be happier. I would give OFL a 100 stars out of 5 stars. No seriously, you went above and beyond to ensure I was happy, satisfied and had a space that reflected both my vision and your eye. ERRRTHANG! No seriously, you checked every box, and went above and beyond to ensure each and every detail was perfect.” —Malyia McNaughton

A Plant Paradise

I loved transforming this living room into a creative studio that my client coined as #maistudio. This was one of the first projects for OFLTransformations, where we showcased the transformation of homes through our unique process of decluttering, organizing, and decorating.

When I enter a space, I’m able to envision the room’s full potential, which includes a structured, styled home with our client’s taste. Get into what Masihka thought of the space herself, which gives a full living room tour. More angles from this plant paradise as well as more stills of the evolution of Maishka space.

“I LOVE Mai Space!! Thank you so much! Letting go and decluttering was difficult, but so necessary. My space truly is functional for my needs now. I can get work done, I can workout when I need to, I can have friends over without worry of messiness. Additionally, I can be creative. I can't wait to open my space to other people who also want to use it as a Studio! Overall I really enjoyed my experience working with organize for love, I was at a place where I really needed to declare my space and turn it into something that's workable and that was like me. The process that Organize For Love had really helped me to declutter and find purpose for the things in my space while also having it be fun! I felt very at ease throughout the process, and felt like I had the support I needed!” —Maishka Antoine

A Travel Project

One thing I’M going to do is spot the thing(s) that need to go. This project was one of my FAVORITES because it showcased what I do, having the eye, skill, and discernment on what should go.

When working with clients, I don’t just get rid of things (unless they ask). I suggest, state my reasoning, and 9/10 they agree. We did this project early this year, but it’s such a great example of how clutter closes and darkens a space!!
