Kitchen Table Experience

You’re Allowed to Care for You, Too

Forget about the sense of urgency to have a perfectly organized home by next week. It’s a compassionate and intentional approach to decluttering that’s going to lead to deep roots and long-term results. When you’re equipped with tools to see your home differently, you can organize anything with anyone. Because keeping an organized home starts from within. And THAT is what you’ll use to support others in their home reset journey. So, whether you’re a collector, mom, caretaker, homemaker, or fellow cycle breaker, the Kitchen Table makes space for the nuances of getting your home in order.

Our kitchen tables are the heart of the home, it’s where you’ll unpack the unseen, unspoken, and unfairnesses of carrying clutter that’s not yours.

Since it's also where we work, plan our lives, and exist in our simplest form, expect to  get unstuck in a structured but intimate format. The magic during our Kitchen Tables happens when we show up in our rawest form, so come as you are. This is a recurring monthly event that happens inside Abode, but you’re invited to sit with us for the hour.

Bring your nuance.

Your questions.

Your grief.

Your need for action.

Dreams of a clutter-free lifestyle.

We can handle it.

What It’s Like to Sit With Us

The Kitchen Table is where our stories meet, our burdens loosen, and our homes begin to shift from the inside out. Here’s what others have experienced:

"The range of age, walks of life, and experiences of the community really made me feel comfortable to curate my home and implement systems that are fitting to where I am now. Thank you, Rebekah, for setting a tone of warm, gentle transparency on your online platform that carried over to the Abode community” -Shamonique, former Abode member

"This is more than just, you know, learning to organize and getting a new routine or whatever. It's looking at life holistically and what's broken and what can be fixed and how can we fix it from a holistic standpoint. And then how can I keep my feet moving? Like, how can I keep moving? And this is the way by letting that stuff flow out, bless somebody else and keep it moving.” -Stacie, current Abode member

"Love your transparency!! It’s actually one of my fave things about being in Abode: how your share your wisdom in a framework that makes space for vulnerability and transparency. We have to be honest with ourselves about what we want and need our spaces to be and you make that so easy by leading with vulnerability and transparency too! Abode is truly unlike any other program out there!!” -Salem, former Abode member

Meet Your Host:

Home Therapist, REBEKAH LOVE

Since I grew up in a cluttered, chaotic home. I know what it feels like to live in survival mode, to feel like your space is just another thing weighing you down. That’s why I created Organize For Love and started inviting women like you to the Kitchen Table.

This powerful work is personal. Because when our homes are in order, we don’t just feel better, we can be present with ourselves, for our families, and our communities.

The Kitchen Table is more than an event. It’s a space for reflection, ritual, and repair. A space to start choosing yourself again and build an intentional home lifestyle. I’m inviting you to sit with us.

You can keep your camera off if you’d like. If you do turn on your camera, come as you are (muted at first). But with your bonnet, eye crust, toddler, and all.

DO I HAVE TO JOIN ABODE TO ATTEND KITCHEN TABLE?

For the first time, the Kitchen Table is being opened to non-Abode members. You don’t have to be inside the Abode membership to attend the June 6th Kitchen Table.

WHY IS IT CALLED KITCHEN TABLE?

Our meetings are affectionately called Kitchen Table as an ode to the beloved artist Carrie Mae Weems and her Kitchen Table Series. If you don't know about Mrs. Weems's Kitchen Table series, you can see it here.  She essentially wanted to portray the everyday moments in the lives of Black women at a particularly important space in our homes, the kitchen table.
